We created a website for Cornell's School of Civil and Environmental Engineering that incorporates many dynamic features. By starting with the open-source software WordPress, we are able to make all of the website's pages editable using a web browser. We then added our own Knowledge Town Framework plug-in to manage the administration and display of specialized pages, such as course listings and faculty pages. The Knowledge Town Framework is capable of creating full-fledged web applications. We created an online hiring search tool for CEE and we are in the process of creating a facilities management tool.
